To Just Simply Remember
The path that we came from
The familiar sights
Are no longer important sights
They’ve just become a cluster of objects.
But here we are again
The sounds of familiar voices
That we have grown accustomed to
At times uncertain if we’ve liked these particular sounds.
But here we are again
The scent that always triggers our memories
In an instant
We are back to a time when we remember.
Remembering and reminiscing
Our beloved memories
They come and leave your thoughts
But here we are again
Back to this moment when it was particularly special one
Back when it was a simpler time
When we didn’t have to just seek this one special memory.
