Freehold Boro Boys Basketball has had a very tough season thus far; regardless the team continues to chug along together. The six main men on the court are Jack Bisaha, Lucas Bruckman, Jiasion (Turkey) Carpenter, Quincy Davis, Liam Feuster, and Ashante Worthy.

In their only win against The Middletown North Lions, Worthy put up 23 points, Rich Vingelli, and Bruckman both put up 8, and Davis scored 9. That game, taking place two days after Christmas was their season high score of 57.

In five out of their ten games played, the Colonials lost by 20. Two of their games they lost by one shot; 1 point against Sayreville, and 3 points against Howell.

The team has certainly suffered from a tough season, and schedule but the team has not given up. I see nothing but effort and grit out there on the court. And the team still continues to excite when the clock rolls down to the final seconds.

On the bright side, the season is far from over. The Boro is in NJSIAA Group 3, seedings for playoff berth are released on February 8th.
