“The Batman” is one of the most anticipated movies of 2022 and with some of the early reviews releasing there is nothing but good news for Batman fans. There have been plenty of Batman films over the past twenty years with Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Trilogy” being the most popular. Fans have been wondering if a masterpiece such as “The Dark Knight” could be beaten and it’s safe to say that “The Batman” could give it a run for its money.

Robert Pattinson will be playing Bruce Wayne otherwise known as Batman in the film bringing a much darker tone than any prior movie. The Riddler will be showing up in the film as the main antagonist with a few other characters appearing such as the Penguin and Catwoman serving vital roles for the story. Unlike many other Batman movies, we will not be seeing Bruce’s parents die again. The story is very refreshing and shows a different take as we will see a young naive version of the caped crusader focusing a lot on the detective side of the hero. The film will show the Riddler pushing Batman to his limits bringing out the darkest Batman to date.

Make sure you use the bathroom before watching as with a three-hour run time you’re gonna be stuck in the theatre for a while. The movie has been given countless good reviews with Rotten Tomatoes giving an 87% on the TOMATOMETER and IGN giving the film a 10/10. Grab your favorite candy and buckle up as this will be a grim ride sure to leave you on the edge of your seat.
