The Freehold Sports Medicine Club will officially start up next year. Under the leadership of Boro’s athletic trainer Scott Royer, students will learn about the various career paths of sports medicine as well as gain knowledge and hands-on experience. The club is broken into squads led by seniors who will have the opportunity to shadow athletic trainers. Students will help out in the athletic training office and have learning activities outside of school. The new club is an amazing opportunity to have at Freehold High School, and it has already generated interest with the first two meetings and applications.
