Don’t you hate when it’s wintertime, it’s too cold to go outside, and no one ever feels like doing anything? It’s annoying, I know! Winter is so beautiful and glorious – but sometimes, you just get so bored. Sometimes all you need is a hot beverage or some nice cozy pajamas. So look around and let this be a guide to help you figure out what to do this winter!

  1. Bake cookies! Baking cookies is a fun way to relieve stress while also having delicious treats to eat.
  2. Decorating your room! It’s the holidays so get into the holiday spirit and make your room all festive.
  3. Watching movies! Sit down, get into cozy comfy pajamas and just watch movies. It’s a fun way to relax and calm down from the day’s work.
  4. Drinking hot chocolate! When it’s so cold outside sometimes all you need is a hot warm beverage to just warm you up.
  5. Making snowpeople!  If you are feeling a little bit adventurous and have snow, take advantage of that. Go outside and play in the snow!
  6. Listen to music! Sometimes all you need is some nice, joyful music to just twist your frown upside down and get in a good mood.
  7. Spend time with loved ones! Sometimes it’s nice to be around your loved ones and to just enjoy life as a whole. Don’t forget to take time throughout your day and remember what life has given you.
  8. Practicing with different recipes!  Since you are already stuck in your house this is a great time to cook up some new recipes and try new foods.
  9. Skiing/sledding!  If you want to try skiing or sledding, take the opportunity. It’s winter! Go with your family or friends and have fun outdoors.
  10.  Playing board games! Just because you have to go back inside doesn’t mean the fun has to end. Try different games that you have in your house, or even make up your own games.

Even though you might not be into all these things, I hope it generates ideas so that you can have your own fun in the winter. Just remember to enjoy the time you have, and take advantage of these opportunities and the world around you.
