Football Recap for September
- Week 0: Freehold Boro Vs. New Brunswick
Freehold Boro opened the season just the way they wanted in their Season Opener. Freehold was able to pick up a 14-8 win over the New Brunswick Zebras. Julian Isaacs looked great leading his team to the win with 67 rushing yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for another 83 yards and a touchdown.
- Week 1: Freehold Boro Vs Keansberg
Freehold lost a tough one 40-21 against the Keansburg Titans. Despite the loss Adrian KrKuti had a great game throwing for 135 yards and two touchdowns. Damier Lester’s 87 receiving yards also helped out the offense.
- Week 2: Freehold Boro Vs. Neptune
Freehold took a blow against Neptune, falling 44-7. Despite the loss, Julian Isaacs was able to throw for 60 yards and a touchdown. Damier Lester was his top guy, picking up 42 receiving yards and a touchdown.
- Week 3: Freehold Boro Vs. Raritan
Freehold Boro picked up another tough loss in a 55-25 ball game against Raritan. Despite the tough loss the Freehold Boro run game was on point with 137 yards rushing from Jamar Reed and another 81 yards for Julian Isaacs. Damier Lester set Jersey Record with 3 kick return touchdown in the game.
- Week 4: Freehold Boro Vs. Ocean Township
The Colonials were not able to break out of the rough patch after a 42-13 loss to Ocean township. Damier Lester’s 75 yards and a touchdown and Julian Isaacs 50 yards and a touchdown were the bright spots in the tough loss.
- Week 5: Freehold Boro vs Colts Neck
Freehold Boro picked up their 5th straight loss losing 28-7 to district rivals in Colts Neck. Julian Isaacs ran for 37 yards and scored the Colonials only touchdown of the game. Adrian Krkuti threw for 48 yards, with Jordan Mckenzie being his top target with 33 receiving yards. Rushing wise Jamar Reed, Damier Lester, and Julian Isaacs each had 30+ rushing yards.
