The Fighting Colonials Advance to Playoffs

This past weekend, Freehold Boro defeated Howell and advanced to playoffs! The boys enter with the 6th seed in the South Jersey bracket and a 5-4 record on their season. Ka’more Gill was the star player of the game with 2 TDs, 25 carries, and 177 total rushing yards. Yah-sin Calhoun also contributed with 2 receptions and 36 receiving yards with help from his quarterback Spencer Rushton, with a total of 96 passing yards. Kayden Hutchinson scored the other 3 points for the Colonials with a field goal. Tyler Goldstein also had a fumble recovery in the game, which helped to secure the win against Howell. The Colonials had a total of 342 yards with 94 passing yards and 248 rushings. This season has been a crazy one for the Colonials, with several players out every week due to injury, but the boys fought brave and strong.
