Taylor Swift, the global popstar who took the world for a spin, starting in 2004 has recently been soaring in popularity after re-recording her stolen albums under the ’(Taylor’s Version)’ branding. And her recent “Era’s Tour”, showcasing all the albums in her discography. In the past twenty years of her career, she has empowered many as a courageous leader and role model. As her popularity increases, she has been hitting more headlines than ever before. Such as with her newly formed relationship with Travis Kelce, two-time Superbowl Champion. During the past football season leading up to Superbowl LVIII, Taylor has been spotted, and taken over the camera, at many of her boyfriend’s games. This may cause some to ask, is Taylor Swift “ruining” football? Numerous Taylor Swift fans, also known as “Swifties”, have been selling out seats at games just to get a chance at meeting the legend herself. Where I stand on this is that Taylor is not “ruining” the football world at all. It is common knowledge that if you see someone famous in public, you would want to meet them. I mean, who wouldn’t! If anything, I think Taylor Swift is bringing more people to have an interest in football. Her going to her football games is boosting the number of people watching the NFL.
