Restaurant Review: La Mondina

Established in 2019, La Mondina is a very popular Italian restaurant in Brielle, New Jersey. I went there about two weeks ago, here are the ratings!

The Bread:

The bread came with olive oil and butter. The bread was tasty, but a little plain. (6/10)

Appetizers:

We ordered meatballs and focaccia bread. The meatballs came with a red sauce and ricotta cheese. They were very flavorful (10/10). The focaccia bread was seasoned very well and had a great taste, although a tad salty. It came with a tomato spread and ricotta (9/10).

Entree:

I ordered rigatoni vodka. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sauce had great flavor. The portion size was quite adequate, I felt full after eating it and it wasn’t too much food (10/10).

Dessert:

For dessert, I got the Oreo cheesecake and a cappuccino. The cappuccino came out first and was the perfect temperature, not too hot, but not cold, and had great flavor (9/10). The Oreo cheesecake was also quite good and had a good portion size (10/10).
