As the school year comes to an end, students are starting to prepare for one of the most stressful times of the year: final exams and AP exams. Hallways are filled with students who are stressed about everything. People are carrying review packets, study guides, and enough coffee to keep them awake for weeks.
For many students, finals mean balancing multiple subjects at once while trying to keep grades up before summer starts. AP students face even more pressure, since their exams can earn college credit and show off months of hard work. Between late-night studying and memorizing notes, many students are feeling pressured.
Still, students are finding ways to get through it. Study groups, review games, and teachers offering extra help have become common after school. Some students say making schedules and taking breaks helps them stay focused without overworking themselves.
Even though exam season can feel overwhelming, it also marks the finish line of the school year. In just a few weeks, the stress os tests will be replaced with summer break. Until then, students are doing what they can: working hard.
