It is that time of year when the costumes come out, and the fun frights emerge on October 31st. People all over the world hold many frightful events to help get people into the Halloween spirit. Some traditions include: carving pumpkins, bobbing for apples, and dressing up in scary costumes. At Freehold Borough, we hold our own Halloween traditions. Every year, we hold an event called Trunk-or-Treat, where many different clubs participate in this spooky tradition.
On October 28th, we held our 4th annual Trunk-or-Treat at Freehold High School. Clubs and students throughout the school decorated their cars that corresponded to their chosen fun theme of choice. Food trucks arrived and served food to those who came to this fun-filled night. The students and clubs that participated in this event gave out candy from their trunks and gave it to the trunk-or-treaters. There were many costumes worn throughout the event that put everyone into the Halloween spirit.
Freehold High School holds this event every year during the week of Halloween to help put those in a spooky mood. It is truly a time filled with frights and excitement that all should try to partake in.
Have a happy Halloween!
