The newspaper club at Freehold Borough is a great place for people to express their opinions on school-related issues. The newspaper club allows students to have their voices heard through the outlet of writing. I decided to join the newspaper because I felt it was a great opportunity for me to improve my writing. Throughout the course of the year, I have seen substantial growth in my writing skills because I started to write articles about various school-related topics.
I would also suggest joining the club if you want the opportunity to meet new people who share the same interests as you. The newspaper has allowed me to connect with new people that I would probably never have met without the shared interest of writing.
