The Power of Speech

The Power of Speech

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to fly? How you would experience emotionally? Would feelings be mutual or different depending on the characteristics of a person? Imagine it. Anything is possible if you just imagine it. Like flying. Close your eyes and think of a clear blue sky and your arms spread out wide. The wind is blowing at your face while you have the biggest smile. It seems pretty real if you try hard enough. Another thing to imagine up to the point where you believe it’s happening is falling. People have different views of the world, and some of them aren’t so positive. Think of it this way, some people choose to believe they can fly, while others choose to believe they’re falling. Now imagine falling. Close your eyes and think of a dark place. Most people, when they describe themselves falling, is falling from somewhere they don’t remember and never hitting the ground. Or, if some do hit the ground, they open their eyes. There are two different types of emotions that happen with falling and flying. When you fly, you feel free and when you start thinking about it, you feel happy. On the other hand, falling makes you feel trapped and you don’t feel happy because you know that it’s not going to end well. Think about the different emotions and the different types of people in this world. One thought is positive, and the other one is negative. One type of person is optimistic, and the other person is pessimistic. It’s kind of cool though. It’s cool how you don’t necessarily have to imagine yourself flying in order to believe. It’s powerful, but what’s more powerful is a choice. A choice can change anything. What you choose could change your whole future or the rest of your day. Either way, it defines what path you most likely want to go through. In other words, which one would you rather be? Flying or falling? It’s an indirect choice, but it defines who you are and what you want to do. Choices are very powerful and it is up to you to make better of yourself. Even if you started off falling, who knows, maybe you’ll end up landing on a bunch of clouds trying to redirect you. Most importantly, remember you have the power to do whatever you want in a single phrase.
