People never know what they want

Gotta have it all

The what-ifs continue to haunt

FOMO hits like a bowling ball,

If the song is good, they skip it to see if the next is better

Trying new places and new things until it becomes a chore

Even if they just went shopping, they need that new sweater

It’s to the point that newness is a bore,

But, here’s a crazy thought

What if everything that’s happened was meant to

Including all of those new things you sought

Missing out is an idea your head came up with from the blue,

Let it go let it go let go

Before it does what it’s supposed to do

It’s a wildfire that’ll put you in danger so,

Don’t let it consume you.
