Winter Spirit Week

Throughout the school year, our school holds various activities and events as a result of the Student Council’s dedication to making high school as eventful as possible for all students. One of these activities that students can participate in is Spirit Week. Regardless of grade, everyone is encouraged to participate and follow the themes of each day. There is a spirit week for the week before winter break for students and staff to participate in.
The themes for each day are:
Monday: Flannel and festive pajama day
Tuesday: Festive hat/headwear day festive pajama day
Wednesday: Candy Cane Day (wear red and white)
Thursday: Favorite holiday character day
Friday: Ugly sweater day

Sophia is a senior at Freehold High School. It is her second year writing for The Colonial and she is excited to write about various topics from music to current events. Sophia, also known as Sophie, enjoys cheerleading, reading, listening to music, and spending time with her family and friends. She has yet to fully decide what she wants to do with her future, but has been thinking about going to school for something in the sports medicine field.
