*⚠️ATTENTION STUDENTS ⚠️*
Amazing news has just arrived. As the junior treasurer of TSA myself and a staff writer for The Colonial, I am proud to reveal that this club is undergoing a complete renovation. However, before we get into the details, what is TSA exactly?
TSA is a diverse club that allows students to interact with a myriad of events over the course of the school year before revealing a finished project at the NJ TSA conference in May and competing against other schools. This club is looking to drastically improve the structure, how the club runs, and fundraising this year. TSA offers plenty of opportunities for individuals to either work with their friends or by themselves and showcase their talents, whether that’s video game design, biotechnology, drone challenge, etc., in the ultimate contest. The president this year is Karl Arabit, the vice president is Rishabh Ranjit, the secretary is Zain Elbanna(the junior secretary is Maddox Guttman), and the treasurer is Amer Gomma (the junior treasurer is yours truly).
At the beginning of the year, students decide who is in their groups (if they choose to be in one), pick out what events they would like to participate in, and attend the meetings so that they can be further informed on everything they need to know.
During the year, students work on their projects and use the time given during the meetings (whether that’s during lunch or after school) to create a final product(s).
At the end of the year, all teams attend the TSA conference in May at TCNJ and take on other schools for a chance to win in the selective events.
