Freehold Boro High School proudly welcomed its newest members into the National Honor Society during this year’s induction ceremony on December 1st. Students were recognized for their academic achievements, character, leadership, and commitment to service. Families, staff, and other peers gathered in the auditorium to celebrate the hard work and dedication that earned each inductee a place in this prestigious organization.
The ceremony included inspiring speeches from current NHS officers about the importance of making a positive impact within the school and the larger community. Inductees recited the NHS pledge and participated in the traditional candle-lighting to represent the pillars of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. It ended on a cheerful note with a group photo, giving parents and family members a chance to capture the moment and celebrate their students’ achievements.
The induction highlighted not only the students’ accomplishments but also the strong sense of community and pride within Freehold Boro High School, as the new members look forward to contributing to school and community service projects throughout the year.
