After six straight losses, the Colonials finally found their spark on Saturday, earning a thrilling 28–24 comeback win over Keyport on October 18.
It didn’t look good early on. Keyport came out fast, scoring all 24 of its points in the first quarter. The Colonials couldn’t seem to find their rhythm and went into halftime trailing big. But after the break, everything turned around.
In the second half, the Colonials completely shut down Keyport’s offense while their own came to life. Big plays, strong runs, and a fired-up defense helped swing the momentum. By the fourth quarter, the Colonials had battled all the way back.
With just minutes left, the Colonials scored the go-ahead touchdown to take a 28–24 lead. The defense then held strong to seal the win.
As the final whistle blew, the team and fans celebrated a comeback that showed their resilience, determination, and pride. Saturday’s game proved the Colonials still have plenty of fight left in them.
